I saw Prometheus yesterday and can you please tell me what the FUCK Ridley Scott was thinking? [IMG]

He either directed or produced some of my all-time favorite movies like Alien, Gladiator, Blackhawk Down, American Gangster, Blade Runner, and he gives us this shit [IMG]

    $11.50 for the ticket
    $8.00 for popcorn
    $6.00 for soda
    $7.00 for parking
or I could have waited 6 months to rent it at Red Box for $1.00 :(

I saw this last night myself. On its own it's probably not a good movie but since I'm into the rest I enjoyed it however there were some parts I did not like but I've heard this is a part of a trilogy so they might make ends meet.
My biggest complaint was that the engineer spacecraft was the same as the crashed one in Alien with the same engineering room and flight control center. In Alien the crew found an alien in the chair with its chest burst out but in Prometheus none of this took place which annoyed me until I realized they weren't on LV426 anyway so none of Prometheus has to tie in with Alien at all, yet.
I thought the ending was sudden. 1x chick and 1x head fly an alien spacecraft off the planet? Right, I wanted to see how.
I didn't like the black goo either. Aliens shouldn't grow like this and then contaminate male sperm.. Stupid.
It's also evident that the aliens themselves have grossly evolved into what we know today going by the one at the very end... and if that's set in 2093 then fuck knows why they're so evolved in AvP.
I do not like it when writers drop the ball and ruin the way things are. >.>

I don't see in 3D with my eyesight. Only good it does is strain my head into a migraine.

Yup...gotta love New England prices! :2thumbsup:

Honestly, I'd much rather watch a movie on my couch so I can lay down and pause it to go get food or whatever.

Plus, I'm not that passionate about any movie, period.
