So today was my sisters birthday party and everyone was ordering pizza....well they ordered pepperoni for her, but everyone knows I dont eeat meat, but they were just going to have me cook my own meal.....well my aunt and sister in law who are pretty sympathetic to me sis in law is studying to be a dietetian and my aunt is jsut awesome and loves animals and stuff) ...they said well ya know we dont really want any meat on our pizza - so my mom ordered another pizza half veggie and half pineapple ANNND That pizza was gone within seconds and it is now the end of the night and the pepperoni is now leftovers cause everyone liked the veggie and pineapple so much......so i think early this morning i may get up and get rid of the pepperoni pizza somehow since regardless of the fact that it has dead animal on it, the rest of my family is also over weight and dont need any pizza anyhow.....haha how horrible.....but how sweet of my sis in law and aunt.

that is quite nice. Lots of times families of lacto veggies forget about veggie combo pizza.
I'm on a temporary elim of dairy for two reasons: can I do it? and have had recurring congestion that costs me work days.
My fave ordered out pizza is pineapple onion and garlic
but my fave pizza to make is sundried tomato, grated carrot, spinach, garlic, more garlic and feta.
I'm making a mock feta so I will still make pizza.

I know this has been on here before, but Pizza Hut uses beef stock/ beef derived flavor in the sauce!

    what about rennet??

have you considerd not eating cheese because of this ingredient?

cause technically you're not vegetarian if you eat cheese.

the rennet thing is new to me but I'm vegan anyway so it doesn't affect me.

vegetarians can eat cheese. The animal rennet issue is up to the individual.
Some cheeses have vegetable enzymes. but not mass produced mozz.
    No veggie police, here, please.

I aint no veggie police it was only a question...
i respect every kind of vegetarian.
personaly even is i were vegetarian i would not eat cheese after knowing about rennet... Maybe not all cheeses have it but I prefer not to take the chance...

people can have diferent views on what is or isn't acceptable for vegetarians or vegans, thats not my prob... eat candy with carmine or jello... it's their choice...

I find it interesting to hear diferent views, but I don't judge

Vegetarianism is not a club, its a very personal thing. There isn't much guidelines so alot of it is up to the individual and their personal issues with it all.

yeah well.....Im a vegetarian. I make my contribution....at home i eat vegan. I use cruelty free products and the only leather i own i have from before i went vegetarian.........I also mainly eat whole foods.......but when i go out with people I eat cheese if it is in something....to me there is nothing wrong with that and no one can look down on me for that because I do my part, and what i eat goes into MY body and no one else. so yeah. I know you didnt mean anything by it, i just felt like saying that...peace.

I eat cheese simply because it would be too difficult for me to eat healthily (not that there arent healthy alternatives...they just arent accessible) and moreso for my parents who already cook 2 meals...I don't feel like making it harder for them and I don't have time to cook for myself.

Back to the orig. post...I've gotten my parents to love veggie gravy/stuffing for thanksgiving and veggie refried beans and veggie pasta sauce...I'm keeping a list
