Hello I strayed from the path of wisdom for a while, I was a hippy in my youth and through to about 24 yrs old but I got a good job and left it all behind for about 6 years. A few years ago I got back into hippy type things again and take my job very unseriously. Phew, glad I'm not still in the matrix. So I seek absolution for my departure from the good and a little bit of fun too. Also, I want to put a link to a friend of mines band, they've just released a single and it is IMO pretty good. I don't know if I'll look like a spammer what with only about 15 posts. Whadayathink?

Hehe I see people logging into other forums making a couple of posts and then trying to constantly plug a product, then they get banned, I don't want to be seen like that. Thats all I meant by the low post count thing. And thanks tomandhismuse (at first glance I thought that said tomandhismissus lol), I'll put a link to it in my profile.
welcome skimpot. look in music for a thread of a related style to your friends' band, and mention them there. If they are a jam band sort, the Grateful Dead /Phish section has "weekly new discoveries." tell us who they are, and how to hear them.
