dilli used wax when she started her dreads and had ZERO issues with it because she USED IT ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS!

I think debating whether or not people over/under use wax, abuse it, roll in it, or whatever the fuck they choose to do with it is completely missing the point.

The REAL point is that people DO NOT NEED WAX to start and maintain dreadlocks. Period. A company that tells you they do is simply attempting to line their coffers by ripping off folks who don't know any better.

 

Oh I don't have a personal issue with what you said, just your way of saying it, and am quite accustomed to everyone I meet disagreeing with me on most matters so that's really no issue. I am in no doubt about my own intelligence and ability to follow instructions, which, as confirmed by DHHQ's site edits, were not adequate to ensure pleasing results for all.

as someone who has 100% natural dreads with a partner who started her dreads with wax, and still uses wax on occasion 3 years later i felt it time to give my opinion on the subject.
