That's Harry on his 18th, he made a mistake and paid for it.. he was entitled to have a blow out.. I think he was in a bad place.. he came good! In my opinion!
He is a good lad.. done more for his country than some people twice his age, and let's face it, he could have done what his father has done all his life.. cheat, laze about, and talk to plants! Harry is an Iraq veteran, let's not forget that!
JMR Higgs has a great book about the monarchy. In it, he argues that the royal family are an absurd, ridiculous and outdated institution representing some of the very worst of our entrenched class and societal privilege. If understood as a monarchy. He goes on to argue that the royal family are far more useful, beneficial and worthwhile if understood as household pets. It's a great book for pissing off both royalists and monarchists.
He would have looked better in more expensive costume. I dunno what he's portraying, but he looks like the office from Das Boot.
And what exactly was the point of the Iraq / Afghan wars? I'm sure he had the best intentions in training himself to machine gun down people in a foreign country in a helicopter.
He did his bit, which is more than can be said for some.. Personally, Iraq was payback for seeing off Diana! But that's my theory..blah blah! I like those boys, even if I don't like their father! And let's face it, he is the disgrace in the family, failed at everything, succeeded in nothing! I for one will discard the royals if he becomes king with that God awful woman at his side!
There was a Private Eye cover with Charles and Camilla at a party, in front of a table laden with cakes. Charles says, "Fruitcake?", to which Camilla replies, "Don't be so hard on yourself!" I thought it was really funny.
