yeah, claypool's voice is annoying, but i think everyone should sing if they want to, because it's not always about having that polished pop sound, but expressing original ideas. primus have an original sound. i like frizzle fry best, too. anti-pop's fun as well.

If you like Primus you need to look for Les Claypool's solo album "Les Claypool & the Holy Mackerel Presents: High Ball with the Devil"

    pretty good album

Primus is also in one of the "Bill & Ted" Movies

Yea Claypool's voice isn't great, but in a way I think his wheedly, twangy voice fits the generally freaked-outness of the band's music. Some voices are just bad but they fit like that, Bob Dylan's legacy.

I dig Primus, but personally I've always enjoyed Claypool's other projects more, especially Frog Brigade.

Primus is great. I only have two of their albums, Sailing the Seas of Cheese and Pork Soda. I love both of them.

Primus is my favorite band of all time. Les Claypool is my god. I would say that there best album is either Pork Soda for its darker bass riffs and more thought provoking lyrics. I also like Suck On This for its originallity and solid live. Frizzle Fry is good though because you get to here more of the band (Ler and Tim "Herb). Porksoda though. gotta love Nature Boy and Mr Krinkle. My Name is Mud... PRIMUS SUCKS!

Primus rocks the hizzous. The most amazing thing is that they've stayed true to their roots, and haven't sold out. My's favorite album would have to be Tales from the Punchbowl.

I had the honor of seeing Primus in concert last fall during the "Tour De Fromage" and it was seriously a trip. They are one of the most original mainstream bands of the past decade and I love them. Claypool has enormous amounts of talent, but most outsiders forget how talented the whole band really is. I love the new direction they are taking with long jams and psychedelia mixed in with their shows. Favorite album is probably Cheese but The Brown Album and Pork Soda are top notch albums as well. Favorite songs are Nature Boy, Frizzle Fry, Mr. Krinkle, and American Life. I wonder since Phish has retired if Trey will start making new material with Les and Stewart Copeland for Oysterhead.

Primus Sucks! Primus Sucks! Primus Sucks! Primus Sucks! Primus Sucks!
