My friend just offered me 1.1 grams of iso-hash (which I'm assuming he means iso-alc extraction so it's hash oil then) made from some really good bud. I think he said like $120 or something and I've never actually bought "iso-hash" as he calls it , I've only made it a couple times and when I did I never actually weighed it out so I don't know what the ratio for dry buds to hash yield would be and if the prices would work out. I said most likely definitely not considering I can make it myself and not shell out a lot of money. Although I do know he used quite a few really really good strains in making it considering I smoked some with him before the rest turned into hash. I'm talking one-two hits and being high for 2 hours.
I'm sure iso is the ice and filter method. Ok a uk price but last time i got offered that it was £15 per gram mates rates about 2yrs age. Would of thought good bud being 15-20 per cent thc then ya end with 15 per cent good hash and another 15 per cent decent hash.
wow! in my town you can get a half onion for that price. 120 is alot of money, with that much money you can just buy ALOT of weed and make it yourself.
they're talking bout much more concentrated stuff though, I think hash is a different affair over here
as ive always understood iso-hash is the rubbing alcohol variety, i dont like it very much, bubble is better. that price is ridiculous you should slap him.

right, as everyone else pointed out, "iso" does NOT equal "ice." very different when talking about hash. I just paid $25 for a gram of bubble hash and to me, that's borderline. I wouldnt pay any more than that. $120 is absolutely ridiculous. I seriously hope you mis-typed or got confused about something because that's a huge rip-off times ten.
the highest iv ever payed for hash has been 40€ and 8th. Rule of thumb here is 10 a gram, blonde is always the best and I always pick up a few grams of that but at the same time 10 a gram can get you slate hash which is much lower quality...just got to make sure you know what your paying for before you buy.
Stems will not get you even close the % of THC to get you high. It would end up being crap, block hash that tastes like ass and smokes like shit. To get the highest % of THC in your hash you want to get the tricomes off your bud, nothing else. The amount of tricomes in stem compared to on the bud is just a fraction so you are loosing out on a lot of potential. The higher the quality bud, the less contaminents you get the better the hash. Rule of thumb....the best bud has around a 24% THC content, the best hash has up to 30-35% THC, more than bud could ever get...now the highest THC concentrate would be from hash oil which gives up to a 45% THC content. I have been to Dam 4 times in 2 years and the oil you get out there would blow your mind. You would think you just smoked straight chemicals and the effects are something no one would ever expect. High is not the word...almost tripping out is more like it. Good ol hash oil....nothing in the world as potent as this. FACT
Lol of course your going to get more off the trichromes from the actual nug but if your going to use the nug theres no point in wasting it doing an iso wash. Better off using butane/methane through a coke bottle method if you cant afford the expensive extractors. Youll get good honey oil like that and wont waste your ganja. Hes talkin about iso though and how hard is it to save a bag of stems youd normally throw away to make a lil ball of hash when your running low on your stash you can use nugs of course but I was simply referring that you can even get a small ammount of hash from saving some stems
