not sure if this is better in parenting or in women's issues....
a friend of mine just had a baby 7 weeks ago and just had sex again for the first time about 4 days ago, but she said that it really hurt and there was a lot of pressure in her pelvic bone area. She also said that it's been hurting when she walks....she's wondering if something might have happened, like it cracked or something, while she was in labour. I told her to go see her midwife, but until she's able to get in, what could ber pain be from? could she have cracked it?

It's possible. Many womyn still feel the effects of Relaxin, which relaxes joints, including (especially) the pelvic joint (right in front of your pubis) for months after childbirth. She won't know without seeing her doctor or midwife.

I'd suggest really GENTLE sex for a while, or wait an other few weeks, at least until she can see her midwife.
