presents from india

my mom got back from india a couple days ago. she was there for two and a half weeks, helping build a school and helping with tsunami relief....

and today.. i get to go to her house and get my PRESENTS!!! woohooo... last time she went she got me a really pretty handcrafted necklace, a pretty box (dont know how to describe it) and this awesome pear. not a real pear- a figurine, it's white and gold and soooo pretty.

i like presents... gosh, im such a child.

hehe... well, i got... a silk shawl (it's really pretty), an awesome bracelet, chocolates from germany, this ketchup that is made with all these different peppers and is hot and sour, cookies, whole bean coffee, and tea.

 

India incense is the best!!!

 

nag champa is supposed to be from india. that is my favorite.

 

It is. I only buy Indian incense.

well, guess what? hearing my mom talk about india so much today has made my husband hungry for indian food so we're going out to this great indian restaurant tonight. yay!

 

I've only been to one Indian restaurant and that was when I was in Australia 2 years ago.

 

i love indian food. the flavors are straight from heaven.


oh and this restaurant we go to... they burn the BEST incense in there. it's not nag champa... maybe ill ask them what it is cause i love it.
