i recently had sex on the last day of my period (june 5) and we did not use a condom. i dont need people telling me how dumb that was because i already know and will not make that mistake again. im looking for someone who knows alot about cycles and about what kind of a chance i have to get pregnant on the last day of my period. also, my mom scheduled a meningitis shot for my brother and i next week, and i was wondering if anyone knows if its bad to get that if theres a possibility of me being pregnant? im not extremely worried about it because he pulled out , but i know that there is still a chance and i cant say " i am definitely not pregnant". my boyfriend and i are engaged , so we're getting married anyway and this isnt a worst case scenerio, but i would still have a hard time breaking the news to my parents (they would be disappointed in me) and it would be an inconvinience since i am in college. any answers to my questions are appreciated. thanks.

you ovulate exactly 14 days before your period starts.. if you're regular you can kinda figure out when you're ovulating.. i don't remember how long sperm stays in your body, but using a natural method of birth control (cycles and stuff) in a 28 day cycle, it's best to stop having sex the day after your period ends...

hope that helps a little, but it might be a good idea to get a test. of course, i think the earliest you can know is 4 days before your period is expected... hmmm

go to the drugstore and pick up a pregnancy test, theres a new one out thats supposted to tell if your pregnant before any other pregnancy test out there. its my understanding they can be wrong sometimes, but more than not their right.

I'll be the bitch who says if you don't know when you ovulate- you shouldn't be having sex.

Like said already, there is a slim chance but there is ALWAYS A CHANCE. Take a pregnancy test and get on birth control.

I also don't think that a meningitis shot would have an effect on a pregnancy, but better safe than sorry.
