Pregnancy tests

Okay, I know this is going to sound really really cheap but does anybody know how you go about making your own homemade pregnancy test. I know they exist but I can't, for the life of me, remember how you make them. I'd like to use one of these before spending 20$ right off the bat.

I have never heard of homemade pregnancy tests.

Not all tests are $20.00, some are cheaper than that. There are store brands that are said to work just as well as the higher-priced ones.

 

apart from making a joke about the only sort of homemade pregnancy test being "have I had unprotected sex lately" I did google it and it seems like the general opinion out there is that home test kits really aren' that expensive...not sure where you are but maybe you have Family Planning clinics or something similar where they will test for free and in private?

Why do you not want to buy one?

 

You can get a test at a grocery store for 5-6 dollars.

 

HPT arent at all expensive, if you consider the big picture....

but you could always inject your urine into a rabbit and see if he dies

 

this was a long time ago but it's all i can suggest.
when i was like in 7th grade we did a science project with this little strips that changed color depending on what kind of liquid it was placed in.
anyway, this kind of wacky girl told me that you could use it as a pregnancy test... she even tested it herself. it did change colors but we didnt know what it ment.
come to think of it many of the things she said were lies... but you never know... i wish i could tell you more but i dont even know what they are called.

 

silent, those strips are for testing the ph-level. The PH-level of urine is telling more about your nutrition and stress level, then about pregnancy... ;-)

A normal working home pregnancy test kit costs 6-10 Euros in Germany, I believe the prices are about the same in the US. (We have tests for 20 here too, but who the hell needs a test stick that has words ("pregnant/not pregant") on instead of a simple blue line?

 

you can get equate pregancy tests at walmart for like 3$, they even have 'em at the Dollar Tree (at least they do here.)

you could probably go to a health department and get one for free

 

they have them everywhere look in a dollar store it's a great place to get a cheap one!!! but if you need it don't wait just get it

 

The only homemade preg test I've ever heard of . Has to do with a rabbit drinking your pee and if the rabbit dies then.. Well your preg This was used a very long time ago .. but I wouldn't try this poor rabbit. I say look for a clinic your sure to find one
