a friend of mine is freaking out. she thinks she might be pregnant. heres the situation...it was her time of the month and slept with her boyfriend. her period went away the day after. hers usually lasts 7-9 days. this one lasted 4. my question is can she be pregnant, even though she had her period? i thought i heard it's possible, but she insists that you ovulate 2 weeks before. i thought it was a week before and a week after?
yes... the egg is passing through and could still implant itself. It is possible... she should talk to a doctor though.
i keep telling her to call her doctor. she won't listen. i considered draggin her to her dr.'s office. i don't get why sum women get all freaked out and won't see a doctor when they think they're pregnant? i just wanna smack her. thanks! i keep telling her she could be.
She could wait a few weeks and take a home pregnancy test. One of the newer ones can detect HCG (a hormone secreted when the placenta implants and is now growing) up to 4 or 5 days before the first expected day of your period. Too bad she didn't think when it happened and used a Morning After pill. It may have saved her lots of worry.
