Practical mind reading.(how charlatans do it)

*this is a practical example of what fraud psychics do.

You can watch a movie with a group of people, and it will have a very significant meaning to you all based on the consistency in interpretation in shared culture. Though one image may symbolize something different to each, so it still has an individual meaning to each member of the group. You can look around the group, what they laugh at, react to, you can tell what is going on in their mind by the reaction they get to each part, you can delve into what is going on in their lives due to what reactions they give to certain parts in the movie.

This is not telepathy or any of the sort, but it is a practical way to generalize emotions and categories of thoughts through observing reactions to outside stimuli.

I don't think this is anything too deep, though I do think this is how charlatans can get people to think they can read minds, through generalizing thoughts by observing human reactions to certain stimuli they expose themselves to.
