pothead?

when people started calling you a pothead where you like kinda confused like whoah im not a pothead wait?????? oh yeah!!!, well that just happend to me today and i never realy considered myself a pothead until someone actualy told me i was has anyone else had this happen to them?

 

pot head sounds more offensive, its not, but it just sounds like it

when people called me pot head i just say "shh THEY will hear you!"

but when im called a stoner i just say "hell yea"

i would rather be called a stoner than pot head =)

pot head sounds like your addicted to it, like crack head, meth head, coke head

 

i think thats why i was so hesitant but yeah i would much rather perfer stoner also

when you think about it its kinda like racism "hey im not a pot head im a stoner" like "hey im african american not a ******" you know

People started calling me a pothead before I ever had even tried weed. I was so confused and offended then. But since I started smoking, no one has called me it once. Kinda funny that now it wouldn't bug me.

 

Hahah, I usually go by cannabis or marijuana enthusiast. It makes people show that "huh?" face. Like the word is too large for their vocabulary.

 

Yeah same here man. I would tell people that I never smoked and they wouldn't believe me. They said that I always looked stoned. This went on for years until I progressed into a stoner, I also do not like being called a pothead. I always correct them and tell them that I am a stoner. There is a difference, potheads crave weed and stoners love to smoke pot and do it alot but do not feel that they need it.

Not really, I just gradually started smoking more and more so i became used to the face that I smoke a lot.

 

I definitely prefer the term stoner instead of pothead. Pothead makes it sound so bad. I dont know why.

i dont mind the term stoner. and yeah same here about how people called me stuff like that before i smoked. but now its starting to piss me off. a lot of people my age are extremely immature and act like a 3 year old when someone says poop. they constantly come up to me and say "so smoke any good weed today?" or "how long does it take to grow?" and i tell them, over and over i dont grow and that i dont get high at school, but whenever i am a bit tired or have been itching my eyes (spring gives me alergeys) and they get red they all ask if im stoned. or if i correct them on a math problem or something they are always like "shut up man your too high (emphasize) to know what your doing. or just walk up to me and say "man, your so high!" and most just do that just because of the way i look. when they find out i actually do smoke, they are all shocked.

i dont mind being called a stoner but when people turn it into a joke, it gets pretty annoying.
