i hate cops and ppl who hate potheads whats so bad about it. it doesnt harm can some one tell me why the world is so fucked up but yet alchol is leagle and it kills how many ppl each year.

I think people being stupid in general has caused massive damage to society (ruined it actually) and I am agianst anything that contributes to that, including the useage of illegal drugs.

I don't really have any opinions on potheads.

People should do whatever makes them happy.

Drugs can be a trip to hell, or a casual relaxation.

Marijuana does kill people. It can cause cancer, as it contains as many cancer causing agents as cigs, and it can also cause accidents.

but thatdoesn't mean it should be illegal. Any stigma associated with it is pretty moot, it's as bad as alcohol, if not worse, and I've known lawyers and bankers who've smoked pot on ocasion to unwind from a hard day of work.

Nobody has the same stigma about a person drinking a beer after work... I don't really see the difference between smoking a joint after work.

 

I've read a lot of studies about cannabis sative (not so much the indica strain, but that is irrelevant) and I have not found anything that proves that marijuana is more harmful than alcohol.

Cannabis isn't a drug; it's a herb... which is classified as a drug by the FDA, but fuck their definition. According to the FDA, any kind of food you buy at the market is a drug.

 

That's why it's the Food & Drug Administration.

 

Of any drug thats harmed society, I'd blame jesus most of all.

An herb is anything any plant that is grown for culinary or medicinal uses. If it's used for medicine it's a drug, and if it's used for psychoactive effects, it's certainly a drug.

THC is a very potent pschoactive. I don't get it when people say that pot isn't a drug.

And I smoked pot tonight, so I'm not being hypocritical at all, pot's a drug.

 

I think you people are thinking of the DEA. Of all the organizations propped up by our government, the FDA is probably the most beneficial.

 

I don't consider herbs to be drugs; I consider drugs to be anything that requires extraction or synthetication. Seeing as how drugs are usually thought of negatively at their first mention, I don't see cannabis fitting in there.

 

Of course they do some good, but they make poor judgement calls on certain issues; they are influenced by the prescription drug and tobacco industries.
