How long have you been smoking Tye Dye? Did you start after you got a medical card or were you just like us, smokin in seclusion. is it true that with a medical card you can smoke in public, and in resteraunts?

yeah well I started smoking when i was 11, weed. im 42 so 31 years i been smokin. I used to attemt to guerilla grow, and most times it was hard to actually harvest your buds- last year i lost 20 plants at least, angot tired of doing the outdoor shuffle- 3 grows in 3 climates panned to but a couple of ounces of moldy withered bud- rabbits got some just into flower-but most the plants were there just no buds only preflowers and a fir got one two weeks away from perfection- a five foor indica propbly 1/2 to 1 pound.

So this year i got a card and started experimenting indoor- actually much trickier to grow the weed in a little closet, but it is easier to harvest what you do grow for sure.in Feb i started by geting an 175 watt ballast Halide, and joined the old site www.marijuanagrowing.com

me and my girlfriend often joke about sparking one up at the local hospital smoking area, i wanna do it when all the nurses are out taking a smoke break though- see if we can get a reaction.

    Disaster struck!

I was out of town trying to come up on a little to tye us over.I knew there was work to be done on the vent system. Even had parts in hand the day before i left town, just could not afford to spend $ as usual.
My vent tubing came off the exhaust port, sending the heat back into the grow chamber.Figure it was like a pizza oven in there.Every plant in there was crisp to the core.

I completely dismantled the budroom, tomorrow im getting $ out to fix all the little shit, today im gonna go get some kills paint/primer. Think ill mount a 2x4 to the ceiling with some screws, one that covers the whole 4' run. but centered on the 2x dimension.
Hard lesson that was lemme tell ya.Spare no expense on ventilation no matter how broke you are. ventilation is lifeblood for the plants.

    Yeah nice setup!

Unfortunately i will not be able to air cool my hoods. But i plan to use clamps. And a reducer. The 4" tubing went inside a five inch vent outlet. But i'll find a reducer ,now that i got some cash to finish with the ventilation.
My problem has been more of a lack of cash than anything.
I really needed to get in there and change everything around- I got a wood strip for eyhooks and a plywood ceiling for the burned area (previous tenant) with a hole for the exhaust .And i put in a couple really sturdy shelves for the equipment. Got it all primed with kilz and gonna get paint today.
After I finish doing this, All i'll really need then will be a controller.

250 bucks later, Im running temps of 75 to 85 degrees, now I need to get my ass to work so i can afford a controller. L.O.L.
It friggin cost 125 dollars just to have my transitions made for these german made fans im running. Next time i'll be sure to get Daytons when shopping for fans on e-bay, the transitions for a dayton are common and purchasable practically anwhere. Live and learn though.
I got a few clones in the budroom on 18/6 until they get a little taller. I'll probly only veg them a week and turn it to 12/12. They are shooting up fast.
Some of my christmas tree strain, and some humbolts going on this wave.
This one should make it through just fine.
I fixed the electricity and now can run the air on full, stereo,P.C., coffeepot, growlights, fans, and the microwave, all at the same time. Im in hog heaven now man.

Im worried now though, my great outdoor veg chamber is about to go by by.... What to do what to do. Gonna have to build an indoor veg room i guess.
