Is music different/better for you guys while high/stoned? Does anyone like music better sober? Eh,last time I was buzzed I felt...flat... so to speak...and for some reason music wasn't as good as it is to me while I'm sober. How fucked up do you gotta be to notice a difference in music?

 

Music sounds sooo good when I'm stoned, its probably my favourite part of being high. I can usually notice a difference in music after a couple hits, but the more you smoke the better it gets. Its wierd how pot effects people differently, like for you music isnt as good, but when I'm high I dont get hungry at all and food kindof looses some taste (which is the opposite of most people).

 

everything is better when ur stoned. and i mean everthing, from taking a dump to destroying the world . to me, the rastas seem on point with hitting that certain mark with their music that seems perfectly in tune with bud

 

as they say... pot is the musician's tobacco...

for me, though, music is always fucking awesome, stoned or not... never better, never worse.

 

I agree, music is always great. But there is a difference to it when you're high. For me, it doesn't matter how much I smoke, even a little bit changes my perception of it (for the better).

I dont think music sounds alot better when im stoned, i think i just appreciate everything about it more when im high. My favorite is jamming when im baked. Usually me and my friends bring my guitar to the park and smoke up and sing and play guitar. Its the greatest vibe in the world.

 

Listening to music can be a spiritual experience =D Really Really stoned after a DSO show + 'Atom Heart Mother' = fucking amazing ride home. Maybe you need to listen to the right music. Next time you're pretty blazed try something tried and true, like Pink Floyd. You'll notice so much more going on in the music, at least I do.

 

music sounds so fuckin wonderful when im stoned... you can feel the music hittin ya every note... i love it... would prefere listening to music no other way... but ya gotta be sober sometimes

 

music when im high is just awesome but its awesome even when im not stoned but still weed does make music alot different

Music changes when you're stoned. I get into songs real deep after a blunt. I will start hearing background noises and echoes and shit that I never notice when I'm sober. Weed is definitely an auditory hallucinogen. I love listening to 2pac, three six mafia(early stuff), Pink Floyd, The Doors, and Bob Marley when I'm high. Amazing stuff

 

when im high and listen to music it almost feels as if the sound becomes tangible and that it is engulfing me... all i want is for the music to completely surround me... and i agree it does sound a lot better when stoned

damn, musics like one of the best parts of being high. and yes pink flyod is amazing while high, you gotta listen to comfortably numb while messed up, its amazing.

furthurmore, any music is great. so, light up, and fire up those speakers.

Eh I don't think I wsa even high...probably just really buzzed. And like one of you have said,I was probably having an off day. I remember having some anxiety issues that day...(caffeine HATES me,and I forgot and had a bunch of tea :$) Funny thing is,I was listening to Pink Floyd,and The Doors. I guess the Floyd must really be some magic stoner stuff. I'd like to expereince that for myself! I hope music is better the next time...otherwise weed will have no reason to be in my life.

 

pot is fucking awesome for music, im listening to all sorts of shit now and im blazed and confused now, needless to say its fucking amazing

 

dude i was riding home and i'm drunk and stoend and pink floyd breathe came on the radio and it was like i saw the black background behind teh music and realized it was all just like the background on these forums, with stuff on them but basically a forever expanding black background behind them.
