Is there any city people would suggest looking to move to? I've been looking to move away from Indiana, hopefully some place warmer. I've got my eye on a few different states and Florida is one of them.

How is St. Augustine? I've been looking at some colleges down around there and more towards Orlando, so any suggestions would be nice.

Old post, but hey, if your still looking to move 2 Florida?
St Pete is where its atttt :)
Orlando is nice, I dont go there too often, but I guess you have your good parts and your bad parts ... Your near Disney, epcot, etc so thats always cool if you like theme parks and such.
Tampa, and Clearwater, Largo, their all nice but a bit busier as well as St Pete

The whole state is boring IMO. If you end up in Melbourne / Palm Bay we can always meet. Jedite83

Have you moved yet? If not, let me put in some inputs. If you want to experience a more traditional Southern lifestyle, then North Florida is right for you. If you want somewhere that has some excellent shopping oppurtunities and heavy tourism, then I recommend Central Florida. If you desire a Caribbean atmosphere, then check out Southern Florida.

    LOL! Ah, a good laugh!

Miami and Ft Lauderdale are the only two excited options when it comes to moving to Florida. St Augustine is definitely full of old people. I absolutely hate Orlando... so boring... Bars shut down at like 2am or something there... Pretty sure Disney owns that city. Tampa is full of rednecks. Jacksonville is full of rednecks and ghettos.

    That's a pretty accurate breakdown.

I luv Orlando and have no plans to move any time soon.

However, if I did then it would def be down to the Miami area.
