I just returned from the movie 'The exorcism of emily rose' which inspires this question: how does your belief system interpret possessions and exorcisms?
look into therese neuman...she suffered the passion of the christ over 700 times...she would bleed from the nail wounds in the hands and the feet, 9 head wounds from the crown, a stab in the side and multiple wounds on her back and shoulders from where jesus carried the cross...there are photographs of this.....on a more remarkable note when she was lying on a bed and this was happening, the blood flowing from her feet flowed in the direction it would if she was standing up (or nailed to a cross) and not down the side of the ankle as it would if you were laying down.....she also ate nothing but the communion host once a day for 26 years....the scientist that came to expose her as a fraud was blown away and ended up writing her biography
