What positive ideas or thoughts have come out of your research that you have brought into your life?

When i am in trance or research, complicated situations make so much more sense that i can come to the appropriate conclusion.

I believe research has given me empathy and a love for anything that lives. It has given me a strength to fear nothing, and a feeling of eternal peace.

Anyone know what im talking about? BTW, im not high, but reflecting on past experiences is making me feel fantastic... I wish i could enter such a state of thought without substances thought, it would be something no one could take from you... You know that feeling you get when you get excited about something and chills go down your spine? feels like your rollin hard! yummy :D

Please let me know what you have pulled out of the other side... what do you concentrate on that drives you into deeper states of research? What thoughts do you hold dear? What motivates you to do what we do?

    Take care All, S

I constantly find new aspects of my psyche brought to the forefront and I also find the subjective experience different each and every time which leads me to continue to explore psychedelic substances.

As far as positivity goes I often draw positive lessons and an outlook from my trips. I used to feel a strong empathy for others as well after trips but I must admit I feel those feelings wavering a bit, I haven't felt much reciprocity I guess irl.

The value of my research and experiments to me cannot be undervalued and is almost exclusively positive. i will not be able to even begin to touch on it with this thread.

It has put me in direct touch with things that cannot be seen nor measured. It has given me a much deeper and more personal appreciation for all kinds of art and what a priveledge it is to witness art being created. It permitted me to finish writing a real book. Editing to be completed, he he. Not published.

It put me in more direct touch with various levels of my conscious and subconscious. It enhances my appreciation of music and sensuality/eroticism. It has helped me to realize that i have absolutely no need and very little desire for a bunch of nasty drugs and alcohol. It has helped to re-awaken my inner child.

It has allowed me to meet a large number of really neat new people (including you HF folks!), with a heavy emphasis on raw creativity such as music and visionary art.

Wow, the list goes on . . .

My research has taken me to places of pure enjoyment and euphoria like I've never experienced before. I have also worked through my fear of death and most other fears.

I see trip reports of bad trips but I've never experienced any myself. It's all been a huge positive in my life.
