Sorry I did not realize that would be a hard question. I think it´s open to discussions what to mean by positive example. Maybe something like a person with a like of going barefoot that you want to be like. In the past or just in this moment. Old or young. Near you or far away.
Barefootswede, there are people on this forum who are full time barefooters perhaps you should PM them. I can think of 3 people here who are 100% barefooters: Barefoot Traveller, Myrana and Boogabaah. They can provide you with insight into a full and exclusive barefoot lifestyle. Additionally, I would visit the "Society For Barefoot Living's Website". My advice enjoy being barefoot when you can and do not allow the comments of others to discourage you.
ditto.. check out the pictures of your feet thread... theres a picture of my 4 year old and me barefoot. she's only a part-time barefooter. i give her the choice, but being my kid, she wants to be just like mommy. i've noticed, at the park especially, when other kids take their shoes off, the parents are quick to make them put their shoes back on. usually the kid would have removed them after seeing us two barefoot there.
Johnny Lang... but he stopped doing that after he fried his nuts off by getting shocked on a badly grounded and wet stage.
Myranya and Boogabaah are two people at this Forum who inspire me to leave my shoes behind. Myranya has been barefoot completely for 8 or more years. She is barefoot at work and even during the cold and snowy winter. She has a great photo in her profile section showing how thick and strong her soles are. Boogabaah has been totally barefoot for almost a year and regularly hikes miles on a railroad track rock bed going to her favorite beach and river. She thinks she has a pair of sandals but is not sure where they are. Check out their numerous postings and I think you may be inspired. Take care……Terry
