Anyone here in the Portland/Vancouver area like to get involved in a Pagan Community Cafe? You can join our yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pacific_magical_community_project or either of our 2 tribes at: http://pmcp.tribe.net or http://thepagancafe.tribe.net This is a great way to get involve in your community. We successfully started a Pagan Food Bank that fed several needy families this past Yule. The Cafe is the next step in our Community Project as well as expanding the Food Bank. Come join us in building a stronger Green Community.
I do! Especially as a Virgo; service is kinda hard-wired into me... I think if more of us took that seriously and got involved in more charitable/service type work in our communities, we would be taken more seriously ourselves by society at large. The reputation we have now is pretty much "Paganism is the Party Religion! Woo-hoo!" (not that there's anything wrong with that, but you know...) Hey, I'm in Portland, and I'm on Tribe.net too!
