Can I get some opinions on this? I've tried to quit porn numerous times and I always find myself coming back. I think if you can't quit you're an addict. Our society looks down on porn and porn actors especially. Is there really any shame in any of it? I honestly think it's okay but was hoping to get some dissenting opinions.

I'm sure someone will come in with dissenting opinions. I don't know how old you are, but porn addiction is probably real but mental, not physical. Just take a week or more away from it to rewire yourself if it becomes too much for you. Get you dopamine levels to calm down because porn is a dopamine overload. Otherwise get off how you need to get off and enjoy it

I read somewhere that there was a team of graduate students of psychology at a university. They decided that as a project they would find out the effect that porn had on the mental well-being of male humans. After hundreds of interviews with volunteers, these students determined that it was impossible to reach any conclusions from the data they had collected. The reason — they were unable to assemble a control group of males who had not been exposed to porn.

My conclusion — we males like porn. We really like it. So much so that we all view it. Whatever shame there is in it, I believe, is put there artificially by hypocrites who wish to control the rest of us and who undoubtedly fail to control themselves.

So enjoy your porn, but take reasonable measures to keep it out of view of the ladies and youngsters in your life. As long as your porn habits remain your little secret, they can’t harm anybody, least of all yourself.

Remember that there were several televangelists (who said we’d all burn in hell) that got busted for everything from kiddie porn to tranny hookers to BDSM and then some. You’re absolutely right about the hypocrites. Hell, look at the Catholic Church, just to name the most politicized religion. Although I’m sure it happens a lot less in religions where there is no vow of celibacy and marriage is allowed. Rant over...

Only problem I see is to develop an expectation that women in general should behave like female or male porn actors. Same for expecting most men to have a big dick, or at least bigger than you have. Average in America is something like 5.25 inches measured on top against the pubic bone to the tip.

If there is a free site, I may look every week or so. Never pay. I would think spending money for sex you can only look at is a big step toward addiction.

I have been happily married for 30 years to the same woman in a monogamous relationship. The kinky, curious side of me has requested some such I have seen on a porn site with my wife (she gets nothing out of watching porn) but if she says no I that is the end of it. I have a list of 45 different sex positions plus oral. I'm not complaining.
