We were out of every snack food, so last night I made something I hadn't had in a long time. I made a carmel sauce with brown sugar, heated and lightly boiled, with a small amount of water (just till it is saucelike), add honey, molasses, maple syrup, vanilla.(Whatever you think tastes good). Stir, and drizzle on buttered and salted popcorn. Eat in a bowl, with a spoon. Yum !!!!!
It is not at all sickly. On the contrary, it is a light wholesome snack. You can sweeten with anything you like, kids love it, and so do adults. It is inexpensive, and better than store bought carmel corn, because you can choose your own ingredients, and keep it as organic as you like. Yum !!! Always use a spoon !!!
