is really really expensive but dan and i bought two bottles of it today at the grocery store cause we heard it is good and really really healthy. i like it. dont think ill be able to buy it often though... has anyone else tried it?
my mom gets this rasberry pomegranite juice it's pretty damn good. Do you have a trader joes near by? it's pretty inexpensive there compared to other places.
have you ever seen a pomegranate? its no wonder that the juice is so expensive when you understand exactly where the juice comes from.....
you know, that's a good point scarlett - I have no idea what a pmemgranate looks like and I've been working in the food and beverage biz for ten years
my mom used to buy them..... ....it takes six good-sized pomegranates to make three cups of juice....
Trader Joes is only on the west coast. It is a great store and I'd kinda like to have one here, but I don't want it to be competing with the local health food stores.
I can't believe you guys haven't seen a pomegranate!! I eat them all the time. The are just round red fruits and inside the skin it is a bunch of tiny little fruits. The are wonderful. I used to go all the time, years ago, to this Greek and Lebanese restaurant and they served pomegranate juice, but I haven't had it in a long time. It's damn good though.
I know but we don't have any independent chains so I don't feel bad. It's the only store I will grocery shop at and not bitch about it. It's way small you can get in and out in about 15 minutes woohoooo!!
oh and I hate pomagranites but loce pomigranite juice. I don't have like an hour and a half to try and eat a piece and fruit and get all messy
I love pomegranates. My grandma used to have a pom. tree...it was awesome. Oh, and Trader Joe's isn't just on the west coast. they're all over the east as well....at least in maryland they are.
