Politics .... I thought it would be fitting..

Just curious what all you stoners (me included) .. How do you identify yoursef politicaly?.... I consider myself a progressive or leftist.....

Erm. Well if I knew all the 'types' and what they meant I would label myself. I am somewhat active in politics, but I'm not sure what my label would be. Maybe liberal...

 

I'd say overall I'm liberal, although I don't believe in group thinking.

in fact, i'm nominated to be president every year in my "me" party

 

i am a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. i consider my political beliefs to be that of a constitutionalist and a libertarian.

 

Im a makes sense to me kinda politics guy. I dont look at whether someone has a D R or sometimes I next to their name, I listen to what they have to say and when it rarely makes sense I agree with it. Sometimes hardcore liberals piss me off more then super right wingers. I am also somewhat fiscally conservative and socially lean more towards a liberal viewpoint with the exception of a few things here and there. Like gun laws for example people would call me pretty conservative on that aspect.

 

Moderate, I see the view points from the Democrats, Republican, and Green Party on issues of my interest and weave through the bullshit.

 

i definately consider myself very liberal although there are a few issues on which i am a little more conservative the issues that i am liberal on are more important to me so i would say im pretty far left

I consider myself to be of social democrat variety. I have voted for the Green Party, the NDP, and the Liberal Party in the past. I am to the left of the spectrum, relatively far left. So left, I might be tripping in Stalin's backyard!!!

 

I'd say a social liberal and economic conservative, so liberal Republican perhaps

 

Both parties have their ups and downs. I don't really associate myself with any of them though.

 

Yeah I feel that classifying yourself as one party or another tends to skew how someone may vote. I like to go with whoever's platform makes most sense to me.

 

Well according to this big test thing in my civics class last year I'm on the left side of the political spectrum.

They made such a big deal of that test. They probably kept our answers and stuff so they can see how people our age are going to vote in the next couple years. Damn government stealing my answers.

 

Tend to have a social democratic outlook as well. I fit just right in in my country (politically)

 

RINO! I am a conservative in some ways and not in others. I'm more of a less government kinda guy. What I really hate is the two party system. I know there are other parties but they have no real pull. I hate how we have to choose from one or the other, at least for the most part.
