lol! My housemate was firebreathing on saturday night and he very nearly set his face on fire! You wouldn't believe how many burns I've got in the past few months either, never mind, all part of learning I'm sure...

Hell yeah, I'd love to meet up for poi tuition some time, there's only so much I can learn off the internet. just to add guys, if you do want to learn stuff from the internet then try www.homeofpoi.com (lots of stuff but poor quality video) or www.domorepoi.com (quite a bit of stuff with really good quality videos, and the guy who runs it is pretty sorted so it's my poi site of choice). Keep on twirling till you tie yourself up!

At the moment I've got a sprained ankle, burns all up my arms and I hit myself in the nuts. Remind me not to get the poi out whe I'm drunk again, not such a good idea the monring after as it is the night before!

im tryin to take the 'domorepoi' guys' advice by tryin to do all the moves i can currently do, backwards and its so difficult! oh my goodness, im getting so confused...i think my brain just wont decipher reversal...either that or my arms have a brain of their own...

getting confused man, but its all cool, my mess ups are turning into some interesting arm wraps!! hahaaaaa! and im just swinging out of the messes so it looks like they were intentional :)

Yeah, getting it in reverse is a right pain in the arse but it's well worth it to link all your moves together. I can only do a reverse weave propperly but it's come in handy a few times, still working on the rest.

Heh, I kept on messing up like that when the damned things were on fire, got some interesting burns up my arms at the moment! Still, some of them looked good anyway...

It looks all spinny and everything, but can I ask what eaxctly is the POInt of it? (Chortle chortle.) I've never really understood why people feel the need to dance, maybe it's a bit like that?

What stuff do you need to make that nice "poi" spectacle, how much does it costs and where do you buy it? I've never done something like that before, but when I like at the pictures I really can't wait to do it!
