    Some pick earrings I made
    Easy peasy

take two matching picks, two earring hooks, and two circle links

punch a hole in the top centre of each pick, hook links through each hole, thread earring hooks to circle link and viola!

yea i always thought they were really cool, but it pissed me offwhen claires accsossories started selling them for like £5 a pair or something silly and they became "punk" to wear... i say "punk" and mean it was the whole "im an avril lavigne punk chick buying my clothes from the new "rock" range in new look"

Your ones look much better :)

theyre pretty expensive to make for what they are, which pisses me off, like those pics were $1 each... theyre fender pics, but all the same, its a lot of cash for a piece of plastic... it kinda shits me too when big name accessory companies make things and sell them for disgusting prices.... it just discourages chicks from being crafty.

It was funny at work the other day, I had my hair up so you could see my earrings, and someone said, "Oh I ove your earrings, theyre like guitar picks.... but theyre not real picks are they?"... Which made me wonder why a small piece of plastic that indeed looks very much like a guitar pick and is triangular in shape would be incapable of being a guitar pic?

I didn't collect them...well, with the aim of getting them all, but my dad got me the simpsons ones :) and some of the cartoon characters I liked, I collected.

I was open about the fact that I didnt collect, but in year 5 some of the mean girls bailed me up and accused me of stealing one girls collection... even though they knew I didnt even like them that much. They threatened to pick on me if i didnt give them back

aww poor lil grade five me was just like "But I dont even like them, why would I steal them"

    *sniff* :(

awww i used to collect pogs and i had a MASSIVE collection then Chris Dereck stole them all from my bag ..... then when i told of him he got made to give them back but he had sold them on and so he gave me FOOT BALL pogs :( i had about 30 pogs all shiney ones and cool ones and he gives me lame scummy football ones.

People always used to steal my stuff.. then once in year four i had a bouncy ball and i wrote my initials on it EM so no one would steal it... then a girl called Emma stole it and said EM was short for emma :( :( :( its was such a coolbouncy ball too.

    Beautiful earrings.

I must confess that I lose picks constantly, so I improvise a lot. Credit cards. Yes.

I once made a few guitar picks from a CD. It didn't work too well. CD's are a bastard to cut up, the finished pick is too thick to play anything but bass with, and it's too brittle to actually use.

So that's my story, which is sort of related. but those are some nice earrings!
