charges: 3 5th degree felonies counts 1-5 years 1-5000 fine each 3 years probation 10 years stay of adjudication on 2 felonies, one is dropped
got pulled over, smelled like weed, searched the car, took my shit and thats a wrap... over a pound of weed, some coke and some E(with methamphetamine).
Ouch, Dude that sucks. You may have to take the plea. Most of our rights to reasonable search were given up to probable cause. I know its a load of crap. Good luck
Indeed, that's a pretty hard case to argue, I'd say take the plea, maybe the lawyer can hammer it down some more. Or if you have the balls and really wanna buck the system, go to trial and seek jury nullification based on the fact drug laws are unjust, worked in the 20's for prohibition, and judges these days don't like to remind juries that they can in fact nullify. But that's if you want to be a martyr
