I just started playing Second Life the other day, and it is so enthralling. Once you start playing you can't stop yourself. And I promised myself I wouldn't get fanatical about it. haha  Has anybody here played it? It would be cool if a bunch of us created accounts on there and started a Hip Group. Oh well, I need help. lol
what do you mean - second life? ..... pc game? some fantasy? or you are doing it when you re high? introduce it to me, and i ll be with you...
There was this episode of the Office where Dwight was playing. His second life was identical to his real life.
Yeah on CSI some chick got kidnapped by a guy she met on a game like that. It was a shitty show as usual.
Yea Diego, it's a pc game. You should try it out. It takes forever to learn where things are, because the game map is so big, but it's pretty cool.
it's a virtual sandbox, if you can dream it, and script it, it will happen, you use linden dollars to buy scripts, and pieces of 3d work from other people, or you make your own. it's a lot of freedom to give people.
Someone please explain to me the attraction of video/computer games. I cannot comprehend why someone would ever want to spend hours upon hours in front of a computer playing silly fantasy games... My fiance used to play this online game called Eve, it was taking up so much of his time that eventually I got so fed up with it and told him to stop playing it. Now he's banned from his computer on the evenings when we're both at home.
Eve is an awesome game. people like computer games because their own lives suck, and feeling accomplished in something other people care about (mmo's REALLY give immediate feedback on this) makes them feel like they aren't so worthless in the scheme of things. (this sounds offensive, but it's true of me too, so, yeah)
