my 4 ( estimate) week old plant is growing in length but it wont stand straight, right now i have a supposrt holding it up. Its been like this for awhile now. any ideas ?
take a drinking straw, cut it along the length, and put the straw around the stem. After a while the stem will gain strength and the straw can be removed
Use a support but if you ever do more in the future, those are the ones that you axe in favor of stronger ladies.
Sounds like it needs more light. If its indoors get a fan blowing on it this helps strenghthen the stem. Also when you repot your plants you can bury them up to the first set of leaves (the rounded leaves that is not the proper leaves). Normally though stretching is lack of light. If its outside all you can really do is support it and hope it toughens up.
