*pumps super-soaker* Yeah man, what you sayin'?! But really, I think I should plant a tree. And if I can't at least I'll be using hemp paper this term.
About ten years ago my family and I planted two evergreen trees in our front garden (right next to each other). We didn't really think much of it because the trees were supposed to take something like a hundred years to grow to full size. Well hmm... we must have extra special soil or something because 10 years later, those damn trees are about 20 feet high already. But thats the not crazy part. What is crazy is that about 8 years ago we planted another evergreen on the other side of the garden, same kind... but this one in eight years grew to at LEAST 25-30 feet. At least we have fresh oxygen blowing through our house now... Peace - Happiness - Harmony
I once worked on a tree farm when I was a teenager and had to quit because all the ladies working there couldn't leave my butt alone. Follow instructions! Plant a tree! Keep those thirties ladies busy! Changeyourlatitude
A lot of the farms we checked out have alot of trees on them all make sure they grow somemore and no one cuts then down.
OK! lol... Well I'm not into the whole tree planting bit but I do grow veggie seeds (tomatos, peppers, basil etc) and either the first day of spring or Earth Day I hand out bundles of 4 different plants to each of about 25 people (friends, neighbors, family)... everyone really appreciates it...
my yard is too small to plant another tree damn vegas houses and their small yards. i have only 4 trees. Before i moved to vegas i had like 7 HUGE trees in my backyard it was great. if i still lived there i would deffiantly plant another tree. for now ill just plant some more flowers and vegatables.
I've got about 25saplings in pots and the garden is full of various trees. Mostly natives, but since being in California, I've taken to some of those natives and I now have redwoods, sequoias and montery cypress seedlings too.
