Plan B

Well plan A worked.

Plan A was that humanity survives as a species.
Here we are. 6+ billions of us. All other spevies on earth are now pawns to our technological prowess.

Now.

We need a plan B. We have passed the darwinian 'survival' with reason.
We now evolve ourselves.

Where do we go from here?

 

Space. the unknown.
we advance knowledge, homie. Keep on!

 

Right...

We all pile into spaceships after our world becomes inhabitable, and years later while searching for a new home in space something terrible goes wrong... we all evolve into flesh hungry monsters and feed on those who wake after being cryogenically frozen after thousands of years and wake up to madness in a contained spaceship. After some of the recently cryogenically frozen beings step up to the plate to fight us humans evolved to flesh hungry space monsters and accidentally crash into an ocean in some obscure planet millions of light years away, they escape to land watching the spaceship with all us monsters in it...

So begins PLAN C!

plan B is typically the alternative if plan A doesn't work.

plan A worked, so now we get drunk in celebration.

 

so says the very big and diverse, statistical and impersonal, universe we are surrounded by, that doesn't give a dam whether we like it or not.

As a species that has technology to make environments.
The state of 'earth' is easily adapted too.

You simply do not understand our technology cause your information comes from TV.
Humans HAVE been cloned. Cyborgs HAVE been made and while in genesis
they will allow humanity to exist anywhere.

AS an older guy who will never see the results of this tech.. Im happy to walk in the green fields of elysium and count my blessings for all the friends that walk there with me.
The future is for a new arm of our species. One hell bent on progress and profit.
What point me whining when the young will do what they damn please.
The future will either be a golden age of enlightenment or a great black rolling machine of death.

So be it.

It looks to me like Plan A was against our own will. We didn't have a choice to survive or not, or to evolve. Plan B could be to break free from this determinism.

 

I didnt say anything about giving up ...my post was more or a "pass the torch" type reasoning

I have heard humans say a lot about evolving; so far I've yet to hear the universe say anything. Maybe because I haven't met the feller.

The main purpose of those who have control is the accumulation of that which is made from resources. The finite resources will come up shorter and shorter as population increases and world "business" continues to think and act as if we can go on forever as "we" have. The only way humanity can survive without total chaos is to begin to think of the earth and us inhabitants as ALL deserving of a decent life and all that that entails. It doesn't matter what the majority of humans think--if the present rulers stay in control,nothing will change. It's age-old and not many can see it. Would new leaders be any differant? Think long term and run a scenario in your mind relative to the riots in England over tuition hikes. Imagine what will take place when there are 10 or 20 billion people and the issue is food and water. There are many like scenarios and most lead to disaster,in my opinion. Extreme rich?Got some. Extreme poor? Got some. Wars? Got some. New ideas on radically changing humanity and it's goals? Got none. Not yet. Plan B?

 

I think it is hilarious you think plan A worked. Seems to me that remains to be seen.
