i understand there are some regional differences of opinion on this. in some places you're expected to eat pizza with a fork and knife, and in some its generally assumed that although the portions are large and it can get messy, its still ok to eat with your fingers (like fried chicken!) but to me it has all to do with how messy it is. messy pizza i eat with utensils, easily managed pizza i eat with my fingers. ok, ok, before some smart ass brings it up i know: i should try eating it with my mouth sometime instead
Im down with man handling any slice of pizza that comes my way! As for napkins, who needs em you get a perfectly good mouth
sounds like my mom's homemade pizza deep dish for sure! makes it in a glass pan like this: doesnt make it particularly thick crust, but looooooads the toppings in there like nobody's business one slice is a probably a few meals worth of calories...but its good! (though the crust always comes out super soft due to no air circulation)
I like utensils because it paces your eating so you dont scarf it down too fast, and of course it's much neater.
and cause you're a fancy-pants foreigner! but the pacing yourself point is a good one, i should start doing it that way. i often find myself way too full after i'm done with a meal of pizza....it would be far easier to limit myself if i ate it with utensils
New York style fold over and chow, chicago style try to make as lil mess as possible with fork and knife, my person home made pizza you're gonna need a plate not just a napkin and watch out cuz the cheese will burn you...
Exactly, its my favourite food and I always overeat it. Pizza is probably my biggest weakness. Its a good thing I only eat vegetarian ones.
veggy pizzas are great! do you like olives? a really nice way to go is a thin crust pizza with green olives, whole basil leaves (or spinach leaves) red onions, green peppers, and tomato slices!
you dont like feta?!?! pineapple is good, but i usually prefer just plain pineapple if i'm having it on a pizza
