Not really. Imagine if no one would read their stuff or gave their articles any attention. A lot of people don't bother with that stuff in the first place. I don't think those are dumbed down because others are busy with this kind of empty journalism. Besides, we're on an other continent. No, it has valid reasons to be held, it's not a bad idea. It is just a standard way of showing dissatisfaction. I agree as fas as I took notice of the organisation it is done with a lot of devotion and good planning. The hats though don't add anything great. Some people who support this protest might applaud it, EVERYONE who doesn't will ridicule it. Can't blame them.

 

I do have better things to do than to wear a pink pussyhat.
I've cared about certain issues for a very long time, and I don't need a bunch of celebs or trashy hats to lead the way for me.
So many issues were here before Trump and 2016 even happened.
And human rights were threatened way before Trump.
But that's irrelevant, I get the date and timing of the protest, and I get why women would be upset (I for one am not at all, but that's also irrelevant).
