I just listend to Pink Floyd's song Brain Damage and it was so good it made me cry. I have heard this song before but man, this time it blew me away. Great song. What do you think?
hey dead, have you ever listened to darkside of the moon with headphones on in a dark room, and maybe a little high. if you do this and still doubt thier greatness and genius, i seriously question your taste in music.

Over-played & Over-payed !!!! . I am surprised how many worshipful devotees there are on this Web-Site to: PINK FLOYD. Comments in 'Music' 'UK Hippies ' u name it. On another web-site: www.madmumblings.com the obsession is with Led Zeppelin as musical-nirvana. I saw Pink Floyd perform 'The Wall' at Earls Court in 1980. (I keep on bragging about this because Roger Waters was still in the line -up!). I never saw Led Zeppelin ,but, no one got a chance after 1980 when Bonzo kopped it. 'Dark Side Of The Moon' is classic aural scream but as was mentioned earlier:- have a listen to the early Floyd with Syd Barrett at the realm. The later Floyd is only comparative with 'Ummagumma' & the early stuff to understand how the Floyd shaped 'progressive rock' into their own mould.
I hope that wasn't a serious remark. If it was, let me explain that Pink Floyd is a band. With not much of a connection to the colour pink.
ive been listening to pink floyd befor i could talk i love them but i dont cry when i hear there songs thats all im saying and whats wronge with my tast in music,i think its pretty good,i think pink floyd,zeplien, marly,nirvana are fucking over played and overrated like crazy i see people who listen to some of the shitty music ever and then the next day they come in with a pink flody shirt saying yeah i alwayed liked then even tho they where bashing them a week befor all of a sudden its cool to like pink floyd and shit people use to make fun of me for it now all of the sudden those same people love them two in like a matter of a week also to all of you who say dark side of the moon is sooooo awesome, fuck off, casue the wall kicks its ass

i was just mentioning dark side as an example, because i didnt know if you kmew thta much about thier music, so i just mentioned thier most well known work. my personal favorite is wish you were here.

im a seriously heavy fan of pink floyd. they are my second fave band (first being the doors). i might try that whol in-a-dark-room-with-headphones-DSOTM thing tonight although i dont think i will be high.
