Anyone seen it? I really enjoyed it, such a bittersweet but ultimatley lovely movie. It made me laugh and cry - I love movies that make you feel. but yeah, so what did other people think?
I loved it. It was a wonderful, well-acted bittersweet film that somehow never became maudlin. Loved Katie Holmes in it (and I have mixed feelings about her in general), and Patricia Clarkson was excellent.
I thought it was a great movie. I rented it because I thought it was going to be a light, fun comedy. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of emotion it contained. I also really like Katie Holmes in general and I thought she was great in it, as well as Patricia Clarkson and Oliver Platt.
lol, mixed feelings is a great way to sum up how I feel about katie holmes as well. Although, in this, i really liked her - i thought her character was really endearing without being cheesy
