I finished these short pants today...my good friend kelly's birthday is coming up ... and i told her fiance, michael that i found this green striped material that reminded me of kelly...i asked him what i should make her..and he told me feminine short pants...i think i did a pretty good job..what do ya'll think.. i found this sweater at unique thrift store..and i only paid two dollars and twenty five scents.. it's definetly unique because it is handmade....and it is very circa 1970's...it is like someone somewhere sometime made this sweater just for me...hehe...it was meant to be...the tag was only hanging on by one piece of yarn...and if it falls off..u can't buy it till they reprice it..
the pants are very cute and awesome deal on the sweater i got a pair of bright orange cords and a cardigan sweater today too, but not as retro cool as that...
i just love how you made the sides of the pants!! Very sweet!! I have a pattern for a crochet sweater exactly like that one!! It looks great on you Rar!
oh my gosh that sweater is amazing!!! and i love the little flair at the end of the pants, as well as the contrasting sides--i'm sooooo jealous!
those pants are awesome! I love that fabric. I've been really into psychedelic looking paterns lately. Kinda 50's stuff with stripes, blocks of color, circles and stuff. That sweater is amazing. I know what you mean about the price tags, if they fall off you can't buy it til they reprice it, thats really pissed me off a couple times. It doesn't happen to be a Value Village does it? Thats my favorite thrift shop, It where I used to live though, 5 hours away I miss it. Good old value village.
