Who else here is fitness oriented and smokes? I smoke 5-15 times a week and still have a mile under 6 minutes. I weight 175 lbs and my max bench is 230lbs. I just went for a jog and I'm waiting for my buddy to pull up to go for a burn run in his car on this wonderfully warm day. I thought it was strange I was mixing the two activities so closely together because they usually aren't thought about in one notion.
i used to run when i smoked alot. I think i could get a mile in 7-8 and half minutes, cant really remember that was a long time ago.
I think if you run and do physical activity while high you never have to worry about weight and health conditions.
I used to be in pretty good shape. But I've gotten lazy. I still try to go to the gym every once in a while, but it's a pain in the ass for me.
I used to be able to run 3.5KM in under 8 mins, not sure what that is in miles, about a mile and a half I believe.
i hit up the gym as much as i can but im such a sucker for good food, i'll go out and spend too much money daily on eating out, and with that ive gained some unwanted weight right now i'm like 185lb, would like to be 170 for summer
I haven't ran in like a month, but I picked up skateboarding so it balances it out, and I have more fun. I'm gonna start doing crutches and random skin-tightening kalestinecks(the worst/funny spelling ever) so I can shred some of this excess skin from losing weight. If anything since I started smoking I've lost more weight, so not the typical stoner type thing. 100 pounds I lost (requiem reference)
i don't run much because i don't want to lose any weight. i train in shotokan (traditional karate) many hours per week. i also play soccer a few hours per week--but i'm the guy who does a great play or two, scores a goal, and then has to stop for a breather my muscles are very fit from karate but it's my lungs and heart that are a bit sluggish these days; that's what the soccer is for, i guess.
I dont exercise much. Just a bike ride a day. But i eat really well (vegan). So i guess i have a good diet but i dont really lift weights or anything (I like being limber and skinny-easy to manuver and what not). Once again though i ride my bike like 3 miles a day and i do yoga a couple times per week.
I don't exercise as much as I should. Every morning I'll do a few pushups and crunches right after waking up just to get my blood flowing and my muscles all ready to move and stuff. I work 5-6 days a week and am on my feet all day, usually for 8 hours, with lots of walking around, lifting, and constant movement, so typically on working days I don't do any exercise. On my days off I'll usually just go for a walk or take a bike ride. I really want to get into jogging again, but it's so hard when you can't keep up with it consistently.
workout everyday in gym, usually run a mile twice a week i can do it pretty much under 7 minutes, surf everyday if i can. it feels so nice to be physically fit and still get high
I wish I could say I was physically fit and smoked all the time.. I think if I would even attempt to run or do exercise I would die of a heart attack.
digitaldj- being vegetarian or vegan doesnt automatically mean malnutrition, waht do you have against being vegetarian/vegan??? sure, there are vegetarians who dont concern themselves with eating right, but guess what? theres just as many fucking meat eaters who are fat asses with clogged arteries! waht I mean is, being vegetarian or eating meat has very litlte to do with how healthy you are: in either sitaution you gotta be responsible and watch what youre doin.
I used to be more active, but now I dont excercise as much...I mean, I can still do 50 push ups hahaha I dunno, I mean here in the city Im running all over creation every day going from one palce to another, so Ill count that as much "jogging" time (I DO run to the subway station everyday to get to school cuz IM always late, and tahts a 10 minute run...wooooooooo 10 minutes!). I do lots of hiking in the US cuz I live in the woods there, and I ride my bike a bunch too, so Ill get back into that.
yea, veganism isn't unhealthy nor does it lack protien and or anything else. i'm a vegan and i balance my diet out very well. i play soccer, lift weights, and do about 200 pushups a day. i did all this before i was vegan AND afterwards, and it seems that i gained about 20 pounds after i became vegan because once i started balancing my diet, i DID get all my protein, fatty acids, and vitamins. an i used to go run and have a smoke about midway through, but my neighbor's dogs started chasing me so i can't do that anymore.
