Scientists Reveal What a Single Photon Really Looks Like for the First Time

Of course, this is a computer simulation of the geometry of a photon, according to all the best math we have. Remarkably, this photo resembles both a proton and a black hole and a photo of entangled particles. The similarity is that they all describe ellipses, that form torus shapes. In a singularity, these are among a handful of shapes that should repeat endlessly.

It looks like a celestial body like a sun or planet. Very interrrresting.

    It's glowing. Is it conscious?

    Let there be light!

In some sense, the photon doesn't actually have a specific location or shape, and what you are looking at is its probable distribution. The glow is part of the photon.
