Hey, was just wondering if you could use Pholcodine instead of Promethazine and Codeine for purple drank?
Apparently not. It doesn't make you high and will give you really bad GI side effects if you drink a lot. It's related to opiates but doesn't cause euphoria, that's why it's over the counter.
Oh right :/ it's a class B drug here in the UK though, doctor didn't prescribe me prometh and codeine stuff even though my throat was killing!
