Pet Peeves - Lets List Them!

I'll start....

1.) Irresponsible dog owners
2.) People who tell me what they think I want to hear, even if it is untrue
3.) When people are late ALL THE TIME

 

Women that won't sleep... I mean that are dismissive of me for no reason.
People that generalize the term logic to basically equate to their opinion.
Small portions of food for a main course.

 

Even in a fine dining restaurant?

 

Arrogance...

 

Absolutely, what am I paying extra for the waiter to organize my silverware and arrange my napkin just so?

 

Reality cooking shows with overly arrogant or overly humble contestants. Just be real

Cat owners who allow their cat to run riot outside.

Allowing myself to sometimes be frustrated at little things.

 

Inexperienced people giving "expert" advice on how I should do my art and design work.

 

Usually a much higher quality of food...

 

People who watch entire concerts through their cell phones. Shut the damn thing off and live in the moment!!!!

 

I don't think I've experienced too much "fine dining" then. Usually the places that I have thought might be considered that, have fairly average food.

 

Indeed. People used wave a little flame from their lighters at concerts. Nowadays they wave lit up cell phone screens. I miss the old days of the lighter.

 

Hmmm...I've had the opposite experience. Not that I have the luxury of going to fine dining restaurants much anymore, but I used to at least once a month, with my ex, and I found the food to always be of excellent quality. This is just at one particular restaurant though, which has since closed down, because the head chef retired.

 

Oh, I still wave a lighter at concerts.

 

sure, but if you leave the restaurant still so hungry that you have to stop and get some mcnuggets on the way home, those 4 bites of expensive good food don't really seem worth it anymore.
