So whats yalls pet peeve. Mine has to be loud talking, there is nothing more annoying than that. For example someone is talking to another person face to face and on the other side of a big house you can not only hear them but they are still loud to you from far away. It is totally irrational aka insane, you do not need to talk loudly to be heard.
quick temper and no sense of humor and negativity...don't really find them to be "pet peeves" though, just character traits that can be quite annoying at times...
there is this one friend that I USED to smoke with, and every time you would go to say something, he would cut you off and say something really long and annoying. so then you would wait for him to finish, there would be silence, and when you tried to talk again he would do the same thing. if that wasn't annoying enough, when you bring it to his attention, he just says he has no clue what you are talking about, and you're just high. biggest pet peeve ever. that and when people click their fingernails, god that sends shivers up my spine like nails on a chalkboard.
Lawnmowers, hedge strimmers. In the summer, no matter where you live there is always some noisy bastard within a mile you can hear his black & fucking decker vanity garden implement, spoiling the peace and tranquility. Assholes. With you on those. I hate people who really dig their knife into their plate when they are cutting their food, that really turns my blood cold.
lmao I didn't even think of that one but it's so true. they chop something and it's like *SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK* hmmmm whats another one... my pet peeves are usually all social ones. lke I hate when you are talking to someone, and they think that they have to be right in your face to talk to you. like and inch from your face. it's really bad too if they have bad breath.

I used to know a guy who was a close walker, every time you walked into town with him he was always banging into you, and everytime he said something he had to hit you with his arm. We're no longer friends...
i don't mind landscaping equipment categorically, but it does drive me crazy how people only seem to use it right outside my window at 7 a.m. on my only day off...
I live in a well to do part of town, so people round here are obsessed with manicured lawns. There is some ass hole every single day with something going. I swear my neighbor cuts his yard every 3 days. to make it worse, a few of my neighbors have the same hired yard cleaning crew, so every thursday I have to listen to 3 hours of combined lawnmower, leafblower, weedwhacker and mexicans yelling over it. they tend to come round midday and work their way around the five houses surrounding me while im trying to read the paper and enjoy my morning bowls. it drives me crazy. Excessive bad grammar, not so much in writing, but when spoken. When people dont respect personal space as well, wannabe know-it-alls, and people who arent happy unless theyre bitching. the knife thing too.

not really pet peeves, but character traits I don't like. - negativity. - an inability to see things from another person's perspective - vehement anger - self-obsession or significant lack of interest in others - blatant rudeness, especially when fueled by self-righteousness
I wouldn't mind so much if they all agreed to mow their lawns at the same time. But as soon as one is finished, there is another one somewhere else, so the whole summer is filled with the distant hurm of someones bloody mower. Maim mower maim!
yeah ridiculous over the top, constant anger is really annoying too. i hate when people get so pissed over little bitty things that done even matter. it makes me think they are psycho.
chewing loudly/with mouth open being smelly (bad BO) being obnoxious, ie always trying to talk to me when you know i dont like you as a person feet touching me above the calf. bleh! unless i choose to give a foot massage, that i can handle (i worked in shoes for 3 years or so) close mindedness being an asshole for no reason (customers mainly are the ones who do this)
