    I'm not a guitar player, but this is my rig for the group I'm presently playing with:
    beater blue sparkle Ludwig & Rogers drums, old Paiste & Zildjian cymbals, spring coils, small gongs, bells, tabla, mixing bowls, Casio SK-1, mbira, cheap bansuris, goathooves, rainsticks and other stuff...
    homemade contact mics + some crappy SM57s and a $5 SM94
    routed through a cheap 12-channel Electro-Voice mixer into-->
    EH Deluxe Memory Man, Frostwave Resonator HP/LP Resonant Filter, Moogerfooger Ring Modulator, MXR Phase 100 plus a row of Blacet synthesizer modules: ring modulator, frequency divider, analog delay, phaser and more to come...
    The resulting chaos gets spit out through a Roland KC500 keyboard amp. Electroacoustic fun!

    Let's see... we got a les paul, an eric clapton sig. strat, a really old gibson acoustic (that sounds incredible, i might add), a washburn acoustic/electric, an ovation acoustic/electric, a yamaha 12-string, and a fender bass.

    for mic's there's two 58's, a 57, and the radioshack (which is our current fav, lol).

    there are two amps, a matchless and a fender twin, but we never use them... NI GuitarRig is far more versitile, and well, sounds better for way less work....

    we also have two M-Audio bookshelf monitors, and two larger yamaha monitors

    we record in FLstudio4 (sometimes I'll use 5) and master in Soundforge. I could go through plugin's that we use, but that's a hefty list. I will say that if anybody recording on a pc is looking for a good reverb (and using vst's), the Waves IR-1 is the one you want. trust me. :)

    Anyway, I usually keep an amp out and a stereo and 8 track recorder on top of my cyber-twin and I have a twin-reverb I use in the bathroom next to my room for better acoustics...
    I don't use many effects, a TS-808, a vox wah, and a stereo delay....older Martin D-35, Guild 12 string, Gibby LP, and a Fender Strat. I had a Peavey Classic 30 and a Fender stolen, but they weren't anything too special. I kept them at my grandmother's house and she recently died. The Peavey was my uncle's and he died, though. I sold a telecaster that I handbuilt recently. It was my first prototype. I've been considering building more but I've been procrastinating. I recently sold two songs I wrote to a band I know which was great, I bought a '97 Toyota Camry that belonged to my grandmother with that and I still have some money left over... I suppose I'll start a new luthier project, fix up the vibroverb, or buy a banjo.

    A year or two ago, I found a Vibroverb in a pawn shop. It doesn't work, but I bought it for $400... haven't gotren around to toying with it. Someone bought it from me but never picked it up. I don't know what the deal is with that. Needs a new speaker. I recently have been using a Sunrise with the Guild
