Lately I think too little hippies are visiting this place. What is the percentage of hippies here?

I know I am not part of the percentage.

After all, I am not a drug addicted, free loving, dreadlocked, barefooter.

And I also forgot to add commune living to the list of what I am not.

Better give your money to the needy than to the government.

    define "hippies"
    The
    Dictionary says :
a person, especially of the late 1960s, who rejected established institutions and values and sought spontaneity, direct personal relations expressing love, and expanded consciousness, often expressed externally in the wearing of casual, folksy clothing and of beads, headbands, used garments, etc.
    Also, hippy.
    Compare flower child.

    .. I mean, I do love a thrift shop
    - but. 1960s was a bit before my time.

I've been on food stamps a couple of times, but only when I needed it. I paid into it for 10 fucking years. I used to look down on it, but when you're down and out for whatever reason that stuff helps. Now I'm back on my feet a little wiser and less condescending.

As far as hippies go. I originally came to this site as lodog420 so I was immersed in pot scene at the time and it was "in" to be a little hippieish in the 90s. I carried it on longer than most did. I don't go to Rainbow gatherings or too many festivals anymore, but I still flash the peace sign as a greeting out of habit and I still relax in my Tye-dyes on my days off. I'm sure I got into it in an attempt to figure out who the hell I was those many years ago. Ultimately I figured I'm myself and no label or stereotype can properly convey that message to others. So fuck it. PEACE!
