People get the wrong impression.

All this talk you always here about pot causing depressing, anxiety, short-term memory less seems to be spoken of in the wrong context. It seems to me that none of these drug awareness organizations take the responsibility to inform any of us that these are just acute effects of it.

Sure, it can cause depression, anxiety, and short-term memory loss, but only when it's effecting your brain. That's what I really don't like about these people. They're deceptive. They're implying that these things happen even when you're not smoking it as health effect.

Anyway, I bring this up simply because someone today tried to pull the biggest load of bullshit. They claimed that they use to smoke it, and because of it they have anxiety attacks all the time. When I told them that anxiety was just an acute effect of it, they were pretty shocked. So the entire time they were blaming it on weed, they should've been getting a good medical opinion on it. Why? 'Cause anti-marijuana organizations are misleading people into believing these things are long-term effects.

Fuckers.

 

I totally understand the goverment propaganda used to scare people about marijuana and its totally lame I don't like it. I think that the goverment has no other time than to stop all marijuana activity to prove to society that they can stop it when they need to focus on other things. Like war, cocaine, heroine, rape, murders, robbery, and other important facts.

I totally agree, our government is so stupid and when there lies are disproven nobody gives a damn. Like with the ecstasy causing permanent brain damage, it ended up that the guy mixed up the bottles and gave the chimps meth. Wtf, it was all over the news with the propaganda, but when they discovered the mix-up nobody gave a fuck. It's such BS!!!

 

I think that the damn gonv't should butt out and leave our sacred plant alone...they should chill and worry about other issues that are worst and more important than the enjoyment of marijuana....they have to stop wasting their time with the fake propaganda cause no one really gives a damn and still do it...they should worry about other real damaging issues and stick their noses oughta our bussiness....their misjudgement is cuasing our sacred plant to have a bad reputation and giving us loads of headaches...cause the more that they post out their damn fake propaganda, the more we have to keep our enjoyment on the DL and that is a big pain in the ass...

I'm sure people would care, but it's just government supression. See, it's my honest belief that the government wants to control us, but the only way for that to be possible is for us all to have a uniform mind that's easily manipulated. Alcohol is still legal because it has a stupifying effect. A drunk won't cause very much trouble to the system of capitolism.

I think the reason why marijuana is illegal was pretty accurately summed up by my friend: "Because marijuana makes a capitolist system an unfavorable system."

 

well tehre is a bit of a problem here since those effects arent actually acute as you say, and there have been many poeple who have developed psychological dysfunctions like depression, anxiety and skitzophrenia form heavy drug use. the pronblem with teh govt tho is that they miss out the 'heavy use' bit. it only happens to really unbstable ppl (who are wanred not to take it by our stoner community anywya) or ppl who smoke hheeeaaapppss.
