a few days ago i got 1.2gs of dried shrooms from a kid that grew them and he said that was their name; penis envy. ever heard of them? well if you do, get them, they were the shit. i only ate that much and i tripped as hard as i have off almost an eighth of other shrooms. they also may have made me sick tho, the day after that i had flu like symptoms for about three days and excuse me but the nastiest greenest diarrhea ever. well i was just wondering about these shrooms tell me what you know.
I think everyone would agree with me.....theres no mushroom thats called penis envy. He probly just jizzed on them
actually, there is a strain called penis envy, but I wouldn't have thought them to be much more potent then most other strains.
but wait, are they still p. cubenis or whatnot? i'm confused on strains/species of shrooms. can someone explain. like what are mexicanas, amantas (sp?) all that?
They are p. cubensis, but a strain of them that resembles a penis. In a good grow, a large penis. I've had them once; they were potent, but not 3x as potent as the normal ones i get.
Having grown PE on numerous occasions, I would have to say they are one of my favs when it comes to strength, and a perfect example that not "all cubensis are the same" as many people like to spout off through out the net! A good place to see some pics of PE, so that you can understand why they are named that.... is here! (scroll down) Penis Envy was one of Terrence McKenna's projects and outcomes. I believe that it was from a South American strain.... possibly Columbian, if I remember correctly. That is where he focused on alot of his works. Anyone that says that PE is weak I guess you would know more than the famous entheogenic mycologist/enthobotanist that created it! And, all the people around the world that have grown them and agree that they can be quite potent... upwards of twice the strength of an average cube! Or, they just didn't get to try some quailty PE! Read this reputable vendor's descriptives on PE. People are and have been working on keeping the genetics of PE going. There were some "PE6" that were floating around awhile back. And I am sure that many others have the original PE in thier spore collections to keep it going long into the future! Not to mention that quite a few vendor's sell them still Az
penis envy is a cubensis strain and is no more special than any other cubensis strain except for in its phallic appearance.
I think they're only more potent because about an hour into your trip you'll think, "I just ate a giant penis shaped shroom" No, but in all seriousness, it is a real strain, but I dunno anything about potency...but the guy 2 posts earlier seemed to be correct...
