when art is influenced to be more likely to sell quickly, then thats not right... i like to make cool stuff... and if someone else thinks its cool and is willing to buy it, great... but i basically just want to create cool stuff....
I DO NOT AGREE WITH YOUR STATEMENT, I AM MIDDLE AGE AND WHITE AND I LOVE THE DRAWINGS AND WOULD BUY THEM, PLEASE DON'T CATERGORIZE ME WITH OTHER MIDDLE AGE WHITE PEOPLE HIPPIEWISE ANGEL
I do some crayon drawings for pretty cheap. I don't care how much it sells for, but if I know someone has deep pockets I'm going to gouge them for all they're worth... nothing wrong with a little redistribution of wealth.
The drawings are not for sale. They are drafts for a book I am working on. It started off as a personal mission, from bad experiences in my life. They turned out great and I thought the concept could promote my business as well. You know "Happy Accidents". Then a few good friends of mine saw my project and advised me to a publisher they knew, that told me to refine the drawings (with my graphics tablet) so they are more presentable on print and present a final draft of the stories to go with the art. Nothing assured yet but I figure I should go with a chance like this while I have it. Not everyday that things like this come along to a person. I am also taking references from many girls I know and their own personal experiences so its not directed at just one thing in particular. Variety for the many different personal battles. Hippiewise you're too cute........even for a middle age white woman..... hehehe
