Pele Fire OG is a Hawaiian Fire OG Kush backcross created by Pua Mana 1st Hawaiian Pakalōlō Seed Bank genetic specialists on the Big Island of Hawai'i during the 2014 volcanic visit of Pele Hawaiian Fire Goddess.

Born in a land of lava, fire & fury, where local growers love potent Pakalōlō & have been cultivating cuts like '98 Aloha White Widow & of course dakine mighty mind warping legendary Hawaiian landrace indica Puna Buddaz, for many medicated moons -- it takes a special strain to be accepted by growers along with the ability to survive harsh torrential tropical downpours the Puna district knows so well.

OG Kush is a strain that was made in America and is well known all around the globe, what is not as well known is her hidden history & hash laced heritage...

In 1991 a breeder by the name of Chem Dawg acquired a pound of D.O.G. bud originating from Oregon at a Grateful Dead concert in Colorado.

D.O.G. bud was coveted locally, especially in the days when high grade indoor bud like Trinity, Northern Lights & D.O.G. bud was a rarity, while the market was flooded with low grade Mexican (or Mexi) & mid grade B.C. Bud (or Beasters) so the people who took the few pounds of precious D.O.G. bud away with them to party in Colorado at a Dead show returned to less than happy campers on the home front.

While these Deadheads may have pissed off the Oregonian locals by taking the best bud in town away to a show leaving the town dry but not high -- by doing so they facilitated the birth of a legend...

    OG Kush

You know the name, you know the strain. OG Kush is a dank musky skunky funky hashy lemon dipped dank delight known, grown and loved around the globe, but did you know her origin story?

After acquiring a pound of D.O.G. bud at a Colorado Grateful Dead concert, breeder Chem Dawg took what was left of it after a long strange trip back with him to Massachusetts where he found 13 seeds.

The seeds were sprouted and grew into legends themselves...

Chem Dawg named the seeds from the D.O.G. bud after himself and shared the epic strain with other growers on the East Coast.

The reason Chem Dawg found 13 seeds in the pound was due to a recessive hermaphrodite trait sending out pollen from female plants found in the un-stabilized experimental D.O.G. bud that according to local sources, was not even supposed to have left a small circle of growers working with the strain.

Had the original breeders known the pound had those 13 fateful seeds they would have removed them or refused to release the pound for fear of losing control of the genetics, not to mention getting clowned for the hermie issue -- a tragic tricky trait that was later bred out of the line, but not before accidentally creating a few of the most legendary strains on Earth!

This hermaphrodite trait is extremely undesirable for growers looking to harvest Sensimilla (Spanish for "without seed") Pakalōlō (Hawaiian for "crazy tobacco") yet Chem Dawg was so dank growers kept her going -- good thing they did or OG Kush, Pele Fire OG & many mo may never have been born...

Another strain created by accidental Chem Dawg pollination was legendary East Coast wonder weed Sour Diesel!

An early Chem Dawg hermaphrodite pollinated a Massachusetts Super Skunk and their Keiki (baby) was named Sour Diesel, down South her relative New York City Diesel began making a name for herself as well as one of the best buds around town!

Chem Dawg with all her flaws like low yield & the occasional hermaphrodite pollination situation, was still so potent & pungent, she made her way all the way back to the West Coast where she met her new landrace lovers:

Lemon Thai & Pakistan Valley Kush.

The ocean grown original gangsta offspring given to us by their California love Triangle Kush affair is none other than the legendary OG Kush!

Those who know all 3 individual strains, Chem Dawg, Lemon Thai & Pakistan Valley Kush can attest to the perfect blend of the 3 being present in all legit OG Kush cuts.

One of those original cuttings made her way out to Big Island and was dubbed the "Fire cut" or "Pele Fire" cut by locals.

The Fire cut was a sativa dominant Lemon Thai leaning clone of the early batches of OG Kush seeds.

Though not every OG Kush clone or seed that arrived survived being grown here in Hawai'i, with many indica dominant versions succumbing to mold & low yields -- Fire OG with her Lemon Thai lean made the cut...literally!

After testing a round of Fire OG Bx3 seeds gifted by a visitor Pua Mana 'Ohana found her to be a stable breeding partner for our favorite Fire OG cutting & went about creating our 1st round of Pele Fire OG seeds!!

We continued back crossing into the Fire OG Makuahine (Mother) to stabilize & isolate the super survival traits of the Lemon Thai dominant Fire OG cut to make Pele Fire OG a true Hawaiian OG capable of thriving anywhere in Hawai'i.

Ecstatic with our sweet sticky success we continued to bless new OG's with Pele's Fire crossing her with other coveted cuts like the Ghost cut to create Nightmarcher OG, Diablo OG to create Kū Hawai'i God of War OG and a white frosted WIFI OG from Amazon Organics genetics library to create our magnificent mouthwatering masterpiece: Mauna Kea White Fire OG.

Now it is Pele Fire OG who is making her Huaka'i (journey) out from Hawai'i to gift global ganja growers with Hawaiian OG fire!

Pele Fire OG & Mauna Kea White Fire OG recently won Cannabis Classics awards all the way up in Alaska!!

Word of Pele Fire OG a Hawaiian OG born of fire in paradise is spreading like a molten magma wildfire...

Have you felt the Hawaiian heat of Pele Fire OG in your hometown yet?

Bet Pele Fire OG is so hot she will make you sweat...
