BBAD ~ I'm sorry, but if you read my posts, I put my own comments usually at the end of every post.~ Usually the "quotes" and "information" is closed in "'s or flowed by a link, so that's when you can safely assume I'm talking outside of that.~

GLGENGLEN ~ Perhaps it is, perhaps it isn't it was just a hypothesis that no one wanted to even consider because it seems to hit too close to home.~

Most people won't consider it because they realize how idiotic and baseless it is, and therefore haven't wanted to waste the time on it.

Have you perhaps missed the rash of women teachers arrested lately for having affairs with underage boys?

    I have.

I generally remember how much I would have liked that when I was in school, and underage.

Does it escape you that those teachers are not pedophiles? Do you even know what the word means? Therefore, those occurrences have exactly dick to do with this discussion.

    Baseless? I don't think so.~

The love of children as more than just friends is present throughout history from the Greek love of young boys with older men, Japanese relationships between a Samurai Master and their young apprentice of 'boy' age that often became sexual, and the continuing tradition of child marriage throughout Asia (including India), Africa, and Middle East and among tribal cultures often the married are expected to 'consummate' their marriage and may bear children whenever they choose.~

Such love of children is prevalent throughout history and it is extremely hard to get rid of such customs, traditions, and ways of thought.~ Combine this with Humanities' seemingly endless capacity for self-hatred for various reasons but the most powerful being 'religion' and you may end up with some psychological effects after hundreds of centuries don't you think?~

Also, for this discussion I am NOT treating Pedophilia fundamentally as a 'disease' or a 'mental disorder', simply as a term used to refer to those who are romantically or sexually attracted or include the possibility of being attracted to pre-pubscent Humans, 'teenagers' are not considered 'children' since they are past the point of pre-puberty, but it possible for this to become a unique psychological suppressed desire manifesting itself in culture as a result of suppression resulting from self-hatred stemming from any number of factors including religion and cultural upbringing: "My culture brought my up to associate the attraction to children as abhorrant, therefore I hate myself for feeling this because it makes me a horrible person to have these thoughts and I must at all costs suppress these thoughts." any suppressed emotions, thoughts, or feelings, will manifest themselves and come to the surface in one way or another.~

    And?

That you don't personally find it constructive is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that most intelligent people understand that a preference for little or no hair in the public area has more to do with cleanliness and ease of access than any supposed attractive to pre-pubescent children. Why aren't you (or others) suggesting that a preference for hairless arm pits or legs have a similar pedophilic basis? It's a fashion trend that was brought about (largely) by the porn industry.

And btw, your use of historical context is inaccurate as well. In the Greek society, for example, sexual activity was prevalent between older men and boys who'd GONE THROUGH PUBERTY, which means they'd likely developed pubic hair by the point. The practice of marrying off young women in Middle East and Asian cultures is generally also restricted to those girls who've gone through puberty (there are extreme examples of it involve younger girls than that, but generally they were 13-14 years old). Guess what that means! Yes, pubic hair is likely present in them as well.

So using those practices as a support for the hypothesis that preference for hairless pubic areas is indicative of anything along the lines of pedophilia is a stretch at best.

In no way have I ever disregarded any preference for hairlessness or less hair in any particular regions of the body, all growing of hair the regions you mentioned are considered part of puberty and thus are subject to this discussion.~

I realize your comment did have some constructiveness in it as challenging the 'basis' of my agreement and I have retracted and edited my comment as a result.

You cannot hand-wave that a lot child marrieges even to this day are pre-pubscent in nature.~

I am suggesting that perhaps even though these practices of removing hair were "fashionable" or "practical" in origin, the ones who perpetuated these practices or started them in the first place may have had some underlying inclination to express their suppressed desires and I further purpose that many of those who readily accept and spread these practices do so in an attempt to release their own suppressed desires even on a subconscious level.~

Funny, you've only mentioned pubic hair here (at least, as best I can tell - point me to some place if you've mentioned the rest).

Where? Point me to any documentation that suggests any such thing exists on any kind of level to support a characterization of "a lot." Outside of a few random examples from some backwaters such as remote Pakistan or Saudi Arabia (in which the practice has been outlawed) or the like, I've seen nothing to support this assertion.

And I am suggesting (asserting, really) you're pulling a bunch of random, unrelated, and incorrectly used material out of your ass and trying to forge an unsubstantiated hypothesis out of it. I think you've got some issues of your own and are trying to project those onto everyone else.

While a majority of child marrieges may be consummated at or after the onset of puberty (around 8-13 depending on the individual), there are still cultures that justify according to the interpretation consummating the marriage before the onset of puberty according to their faith such as in the Quaran:

"O ye who believe! If ye wed believing women and divorce them before ye have touched them, then there is no period that ye should reckon. But content them and release them handsomely.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha nakahtumu almuminati thumma tallaqtumoohunna min qabli an tamassoohunna fama lakum AAalayhinna min AAiddatin taAAtaddoonaha famattiAAoohunna wasarrihoohunna sarahan jameelan [Quran. 33:49] "

    and

"Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months, and for those who have no courses (it is the same): for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens: and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy.

Waalla-ee ya-isna mina almaheedi min nisa-ikum ini irtabtum faAAiddatuhunna thalathatu ashhurin waalla-ee lam yahidna waolatu al-ahmali ajaluhunna an yadaAAna hamlahunna waman yattaqi Allaha yajAAal lahu min amrihi yusran."

    http://www.islam-watch.org/Amarkhan/pedophilia-in-islam/pedophilia-islam.htm

, tale of Muhammad supposedly consummating his marriage with A'isha before the onset of puberty at 9 is also justified but this is often a hotly debated and argued piece of history: http://www.answering-islam.org/Shamoun/prepubescent2.htm.

I make it very clear to challenge all conceptions and desires of being "youthful" such as even in our own language the terms "baby" or "babe" or "boy" or "girl", why is it so desirable to be youthful to point of being pre-pubescent? where has this obessession with "youth" and rejection of maturity come from?~

Also presence of law does not prevent cultures from continuing such practices.~

Aha, here we have the classic when something hits to close to be comfortable with the throwing of accusations and anything to distract from the agreement and point at hand.~

Do you ever bother to actually READ the stuff you post when you cut and paste all of the time, or just pick out a few words in it that you believe support a point you're trying to make and think "Aha, this is what I need?"

So you're basically using a relative handful of these marriages as a supporting argument for your point, despite my admonition not to? I said there were examples of this that continue to this day, but it hardly rises to anything that could be characterized as "a lot." I see nothing in anything you've posted or linked to here that supports your characterization at all (quite the opposite, in fact). You're using this and the supposed pedophilic tendencies of Muhammad to support your argument that today's trend in pubic grooming trends are evidence of pedophilic tendencies of people today?

    *snort*

No, you just have someone here who's literally impressed with another person's ability to throw random bits of information together and call it support for her hypothesis. I guess you have to reach a point where you come to the realization that someone is just so far out into looneyland that it gets pointless to bother continuing a rational discussion with them about a subject. I guess if it makes you feel better to believe your hypothesis, then by all means go right on and believe it.

You're right it's very hard to find evidence for this sort of thing.~

It was really just a hypothesis and more of a what if this is the cause of it and the general question of some seemingly Pedophilic words, practices, preferred physical features, and mindsets of a lot of Human society?

But it seems some people do agree with me on this hypothesis or at least seem to be able to entertain the idea and discuss it.~

Personally, it feels a little weird in a society that damns attraction to children to see all these trends, words, and phrases as they seem quite child-like in nature.~

and I never limited my discussion to any one part of the body, other people just like to talk about the genitals a lot.~ I'm talking about everything put together over the years, you'd know that if you'd read my first post!~ ^_^

I love to eat pussy and love a shaved pussy because it is easier and more enjoyable to lick.

Also I love looking at the cleft between a woman's legs when she is standing and hair hides this detail.

Oh, for the love of God, this argument... It just infuriates me.

I shave my pubic hair off because my partner doesn't like hair in her mouth and because I prefer the way it looks. She shaves off her's because she's an obsessive compulsive clean freak and she got it in her head that body hair is gross and dirty at an early age.

I resent the hell out of insinuations that people are pedophiles for liking hairless crotches.

I could very easily turn this argument around towards people who find body hair attractive want to have sex with animals because animals are hairy. But I'm not going to do that, because I know that that argument is fucking stupid. But it's no more or less stupid than the argument that people who don't like body hair are pedophiles.

Hair preference is irrelevant. Back to the original post, despite previous child marriages etc. A human's brain isn't done developing until as old as 25 often. A 9 year old cannot have the mentality to understand the concepts of reprecussions of sexual relationships. Also the child will grow and develope by 15 he is no longer interested in her.. assuming she has him this whole time this would be emotionally devastating to her. Most men I know like big tits and a bit of butt and long legs lol.. not childlike features. I think if anyone wants to be more childlike it's a small group of women who idealize runway models as perfect. I think most men would prefer

    http://fullerfigurefullerbust.com/tag/curvy-kate/

to the women shown on the bottom of this blog
    http://allajah.blogspot.com/

I don't think the models are idealized so much for looking like children but for the celebrity status, fame and money.. girls and women develope eating disorders wanting to be more like them.

I stand corrected. The finding hairy people attractive = bestiality argument is less stupid than finding hairless crotches attractive = pedophile argument.
